Gearing up for 2012... are you?

2012 is almost upon us. Are you one to make New Year's Resolutions?  Or, do you prefer not to place upon yourself the stress?  As John Selden was quoted:

"Never tell your resolution beforehand, or it's twice as onerous a duty."

I have always preferred to make my "new year" resolutions at my birthday, instead... because that is the start of MY personal new year. AND, I typically keep my resolutions to myself.  But, in 2011, I did not do this. ;-) 

THIS year, I AM making a few New Year's resolutions of my own. I'm not sharing them, as I did last year... primarily b/c I haven't even had the opportunity to make good on those ... yet.  LOL 

As I prepare for 2012, I am going to keep THIS quote in mind:

"We will open the book.  Its pages are blank.  We are going to put words on them ourselves.  The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day."
