Days 9 - 10: I Am Thankful for Teachers!

Welcome to Days Nine and Ten in My Month of Thankfulness... a month-long celebration of the things I am thankful for in my own life.  

Today, I am thankful that my child has a few days off from school. I miss seeing her sweet, beautiful, smiling little face all day when she's in school!  As a stay-at-home-mom, I think it was more difficult for me to be alone all day (at first) without her, than it was for her to be in school all day making new friends, learning new things and "adopting" each new teacher into our family.  I'm thankful that her schools have been so fantastic, but I'm also very thankful when we have a few precious "school days" to spend together instead!  


And, speaking of teachers, I'm making a few cards as Teacher Gifts for the fantastic teachers who have taken such wonderful care of our daughter in school!  We have been blessed to have such incredible teachers throughout her years in school, so far: Mrs. Z, Dr. A, Ms. L and Mrs. L.  Each one has been loving, nurturing, enthusiastic and like family to us.  


For our excellent Teachers in our education system, I am Thankful!
